All beginner classes include firearm rental, ammunition, targets, eye protection and hearing protection are included with your class. We strongly encourage our shooters to wear closed toe shoes and tops without a deep “v.”
We are also excited to offer a set of classes specifically geared toward women and their unique shooting needs. These classes are taught by our team of fully certified NRA Lady Instructors!

On Target has an experienced NRA Certified staff to fulfill your training needs in a safe and friendly atmosphere. Other ranges may copy our programs but they don’t come close to matching the superior methodology implemented in our curriculum. Our staff are qualified Pistol, Rifle, Personal Protection in the Home, and Personal Protection Outside the Home Instructors.

Better Half Gun Club

The kitchen isn’t the only place for some heat!
Join us at the range every Wednesday morning and 2nd and 4th Thursday evening for interesting and informative discussions and then some fun on the range. The staff from the On Target’s Women’s Program will lead the discussions and supervise your shoot.  Each week you will have a new opportunity to improve your marksmanship, shoot different firearms, and work up to more advanced shooting skills like double-tap and rapid fire.


Introduction to Handgun Shooting and Safety $95.00

On-Target’s basic handgun course is taught by NRA-certified instructors. By the end of this class, you will be able to shoot safely and correctly. Students must bring valid government-issued photo identification in order to shoot. We will provide everything else! Check our calendar for scheduled classes.


CCW Initial Class $225

8-hour class offered Saturday morning or Wednesday and Thursday evening (4 hours each night)

– Bring a stiff belt, strongside holster, 300 rounds for first firearm and 100 rounds for each additional firearm. You may qualify 5 firearms maximum during the class.
– No modifications to your firearms. Only exceptions are sights, grips, lasers, and lights.
– NO magazines greater than 10 rounds
magazines are highly recommended.

Bring all necessary cleaning materials and make sure you know how to break down your primary firearm for cleaning. If you do not have the necessary cleaning materials, On Target has them available for purchase.


CCW Renewal Classes $125

– 72 rounds for first firearm, 20 rounds for each additional firearm. You may qualify 5 firearms maximum during the class. If you wish to ADD more, you must come in during normal business hours and add them.

Ladies Introduction to Pistol $85.00

On-Target’s “Ladies Only” program is designed to create a comfortable experience for women shooters. We find that our novice lady shooters benefit from instruction by a female instructor who caters to the unique needs of women resulting in a more productive learning experience. The class is taught using a .22 semiautomatic pistol and it is our goal to make each of our ladies SAFE, COMFORTABLE, and ACCURATE with a firearm.


Shotgun class $95.00

Our goal with the Shotgun Class is to help students find out which shotgun they want to buy and help those who already own a shotgun become more comfortable with it. Students will learn the correct safety rules and fundamentals needed to use shotguns effectively. They will also learn about the diverse types of shotguns and ammunition in order to come away from the class with a more refined knowledge of how a shotgun works.


Rifle Qualification (Mandatory Safety Briefing) $20.00

Every Sunday morning at 9am is the required class that will enable you to shoot rifles at On Target. Students will participate in a safety lesson specifically for high-powered rifles and then complete a quick qualifying shoot to demonstrate safe handling of a rifle after which an On Target Rifle Card valid for two years will be issued. Rifle cards are issued to a specific individual and are not transferable. Any misuse of the rifle card will result in expulsion from the range and removal of rifle card privileges.



Private & Semi Private lessons are available for those that want more individual instruction. Most are scheduled for a strict one on one, but the instructor reserves the right to schedule 1 or 2 others if the instruction level, goals, etc. are similar. Hunter’s Education $15.00

California’s Dept of Fish & Game, has completely revised the procedure for registering for the Hunter Ed Class. We have created a PDF detailing the new steps HERE:
All participants must complete the on line portion of the class prior to attending the classroom portion of the program. No walk-ins are permitted, you MUST complete the steps above!

In a continued effort to reduce firearm accidents, the State of California requires all first-time resident hunters, regardless of age, to complete hunter education training or pass a comprehensive equivalency test before purchasing a hunting license.
All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
