California Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Overview

REVIEWS

Jason
I walked in and the place looked clean, organized, and ready for action. The staff greeted me fast and handled safety checks with steady confidence. They kept the lanes clear, well-lit, and spaced in a way that lets you focus without feeling crowded. I set up, loaded up, and got straight to shooting. The atmosphere stayed calm the whole time. The team paid attention without hovering. I liked how they ran the range with simple rules and firm safety. It felt professional from start to finish.

The instructors showed real skill. They watched my stance, corrected my grip, and explained everything in plain language. I didn’t feel judged. I felt guided. Check-in took a couple of minutes. The rental gear worked fine. The environment stayed controlled and steady. You get a clear sense that safety comes first, but they keep the mood friendly. By the end of my session, my shots landed tighter and my confidence jumped. They deliver good instruction without wasting your time.
Brandon
The range struck the right balance: friendly crew, strong safety, smooth flow. The staff answered questions quickly and treated everyone the same, whether you’re seasoned or brand new. The layout worked well. The rules stayed clear. You never wonder what to do next. I liked the structure. I liked the pace. Nothing felt chaotic. You shoot, adjust, breathe, and keep going. I walked out satisfied and ready to return. The experience felt solid, consistent, and worth recommending.

Had a great experience. I've only shot occasionally with friends over the years with borrowed or rented guns but finally purchased a pistol of my own and was a little apprehensive at knocking the rust off. Staff at On Target were super friendly and welcoming, excellent explanation and enforcement of safety practices, complimentary water and earplugs. Would highly recommend.
