Renewal Policy

In order to renew your On Target membership at the discounted rate of $225.00, you must renew your membership within 30 days of expiration. If you renew outside the 30-day window, you must pay the full price of $300.00 for your membership.

Important Announcement Regarding Compliance with California’s Proposition 65

Dear Valued Customer,

California’s “Proposition 65” law requires companies conducting business in California to provide a “clear and reasonable” warning before knowingly and intentionally exposing anyone to the specified chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Effective August 30, 2018, changes to Proposition 65 will require changes to the product specific warning in addition to new notification warnings to the purchaser as follows:

•For internet purchases, a warning or clearly marked hyperlink must be provided on the product display page or by otherwise prominently displaying the warning to the purchaser prior to completing the purchase.

•For catalog purchases, a warning must be provided in the catalog in a manner that clearly associates it with the item being purchased.

An example of a Proposition 65 warning for firearms and ammunition is as follows:

WARNING This product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth

defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

In order to assist our customers with compliance, RSR Group will identify the products we offer that are subject to Proposition 65 based on notifications we receive from manufacturers. In addition, we will provide a Proposition 65 indicator as well as the warning message in our download files which can be found online in the “Dealer’s Toolbox” under “Available Downloads”. A complete list of products subject to Proposition 65 will be available on our website in the Online Catalog under Prop 65 (www.rsrgroup.com/Prop65) as of August 30, 2018. This will be updated regularly as we receive additional information from manufacturers.

Firearm Rental Policy

You must use ammo from On Target when renting a firearm.
One rental gun at a time per lane
Every unrecognized customer who wants to rent a firearm must go through a safe handling demonstration to make sure they are proficient with the firearm. This involves loading and clearing the firearm with a dummy round at the range counter before you can rent.

Shotgun Policy

Rifle Policy

You may shoot rimfire and pistol-caliber rifles on any lane without a rifle card.
Lanes 16-20 are designated rifle lanes for calibers .223 and above.
Targets must be no closer than the rubber backstop.
You may only shoot .223 caliber and higher if you have a rifle card.
To obtain a rifle card:

Cost: $20
Attend a rifle safety briefing on Sunday mornings at 9:00am and sign a rifle waiver to receive the card. (No sign-up is required.)
You must shoot 3 rifle rounds within a 5-inch spread to show the instructor that you are proficient with a rifle.
Rifle cards are valid for 2 years.
When renewing the rifle card, you must sit through the rifle safety briefing at no cost. No shooting is required upon renewal.

Shooting with a Minor Policy

Anyone under the age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
All minors must have a waiver signed by their legal guardian. If minors are accompanied by their legal guardian to the range, the legal guardian will sign the waiver for the minor on-site.
If minors are accompanied by someone other than their legal guardian, the legal guardian must fill out the Parent Permission Form on our website. Legal guardians must name the person authorized to accompany their child to the range. If the accompanying adult is not listed on the Parent Permission Form in the correct spot, the minor will not be permitted to shoot on the range.

Range Rules

Always keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction. Downrange is the only safe direction at the firing line.
Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
Always keep your firearm unloaded until you are in the shooting booth and ready to fire.
All firearms must be cased upon entry to On Target. Do not walk into On Target with an exposed firearm in your hand.
Keep the action of your firearm open when you are not at the firing line.

Treat every firearm as if it were loaded at all times.
Eye and ear protection are required at all times while in the bay.
If you are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, you are not permitted on the premises. This includes marijuana, even if used for medicinal purposes.
No person who has been convicted of a felony is permitted on the premises.
Eating and drinking is prohibited on the range.
Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted in the range or the sales area.
If a firearm is jammed or has malfunctioned, leave the firearm at the shooting bench. Ask for assistance from an On Target employee.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Only one shooter at a time may be in the lane.
Everyone must enter the bay one door at a time.
No rapid fire, double-tapping or holster-drawing.
All firearms must be cased and uncased at the firing line.
Targets must be no closer than 7 yards for handguns and rifles with pistol calibers (special circumstances excepted).
Targets must be no closer than the rubber backstop for shotguns and high-powered rifles.
Damage to the range may result in a fee of $50 or more.
You must follow any direction given by an On Target range safety officer.
